At Ellie Wren, we approach wedding shoe and wedding accessory design a little differently than other designers. We like to think of this as more than a purchase of a wedding accessory, but a part of your “getting married” experience. As part of that experience, we love allowing brides the ability to make their wedding shoes and accessories their own, and we offer two ways to do this. For brides that are visually inspired, we’ve showcased what we’ve done before through our Etsy Boutique and allow them to shop designs we’ve done before, customize those options (changing the color, the base shoe, the accessory) or start with a design and then working with on of our Etsy designers to modify it. For brides with a vision all their own, we offer our Design Your Own process, where brides work one-on-one with a member of our design team to design their dream wedding shoes and accessories.
Shop Our Etsy Boutique This option is for brides who “know it when they see it.” Through Etsy, brides can browse over 600 different designs that we’ve completed in the past. From there, brides can opt to buy any design as-is, or elect to modify a design by changing the base shoe, color and adornments, or request more elaborate changes to the shoes, such as adding a special element that captures the bride’s bridal style. Custom options can be requested through Etsy directly, where Ellie Wren designers work behind the scenes to create dream wedding shoes and accessories.
Design Your Own This option is for brides are looking for something unique and want total design control. Often, these brides are looking to incorporate a special theme, match their wedding dress or another wedding accessory. This option is fun because it connects brides directly with a member of Ellie Wren’s design team to talk details. Brides work one-on-one with their designer to select elements and then refine those elements into their dream wedding shoes. In terms of cost, custom designs don’t necessarily mean expensive pricing. Some designs can be kept simple and designers always ask for a budget before getting started. The consultation is FREE.
