One of our favorite tasks is to take a bride’s verbal description of her dream wedding shoes and to help make them come to life. Recently we’ve been able to offer a preview sketch of each design prior to the bride’s purchasing of a design, which has been really helpful (and exciting). Our bride, Kari, asked up to capture a “dew drops and flowers” look for her shoes that incorporated her pastel water colors. Because it wasn’t a design we had done before, we developed a sketch, which Kari loved, and then… voila! Our designers were able to bring it to life! Want to design your own wedding shoes? Planning a vintage wedding? How about something reminiscent of “old Hollywood style” or with some Great Gatsby flair? We recently designed these closed toe, silver, kitten heel wedding shoes for our bride Brittany who was looking for a romantic shoe, not to tall, that captured the spirit of a vintage affair. We took a standard white wedding pump and dressed it up by doing it in silver and then our in-house artist designed the art deco style crystal patterns for the toe and heel. Perfection!
