Love and lace go hand in hand when it comes to wedding dresses and wedding accessories, and these custom wedding shoes by Ellie Wren are no exception to the rule! For these pretty little peep toes, we started with the Lucy wedge heel. Lucy is a 2 1/2″ (measured like this) strappy sandal-style wedge heel with a lot of custom wedding shoe potential. From there, we took Lucy from plain old wedding white to a rich ivory. To give these wedding shoes a romantic touch, we hand laid lace along the wedge heel and adorned the straps with an elegant lace trim, dotted with ivory pearls. We picked up the pearls theme and lined the back of the wedge heel with a single row of ivory pearls — the idea being that we could match the “buttons down the back” theme of the bride’s wedding dress with the pearl buttons on the shoes. Then, finally, we dressed up the toe of these ivory wedge wedding shoes by adding a bouquet of five handmade flowers in ivory and champagne satin and, each curled to perfection by one of our Ellie Wren artists.
